POSITHÔT realizes a capital increase of 450 k€ with business angels knowledgeable and passionate about deeptech, including members of the association BADGE (business angels des grandes écoles). This fundraiser is helping to finalize the construction of AM Gen, the first industrial and non-radioactive antimatter generator. This highly innovative equipment, co-financed by the Ile de France region and the Programme des Investissements d’Avenir (PIA), will enable POSITHÔT to develop its service delivery activity for non-destructive measurements of defect densities. These measures are intended for high-tech industries, including aeronautics and space, semiconductors, energy production and storage. The AM Gen generator will be duplicated and marketed to replace radioactive sources producing positrons used in research centers around the world.
Some business angels have made themselves known after the end of this fundraiser, a new one is in preparation for the same conditions.
